First, and most importantly, I am a psychotherapist who is profoundly fascinated with the human experience. My primary areas of expertise include trauma, substance use, obsessive-compulsive disorder and phobias. I also treat concerns related to depression, stress related disorders and work-related issues.
My overall approach can be described as solution-based (focused on achieving your goals), strengths-focused (helping you uncover your natural abilities rather than focusing on short-comings) and trauma-informed (looking for the root cause of symptoms and unwanted behaviors). That means I’m not a big fan of endless hours of talk therapy just because we can. We will collaborate on goals and methods. You tell me where you want to be in your life, and I’ll help you find the best way to get there and make it last.
