Emely Romero is an English and Spanish speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Emely has 4 years of experience as a Social Worker working with children and families. Emely’s passion for the perinatal population began after her own experience with postpartum depression and anxiety following the birth of her first child. Supporting mothers throughout the perinatal and postpartum period and helping them receive support and encouragement is Emely’s passion. Emely currently works as a Mental Health Facilitator for The Birth Squad Denver through Colorado’s Chapter of Postpartum Support International. Emely understands that making services accessible is important and has weekend and evening availability.
