Welcome!!! I would like to start by stating that I fundamentally believe in people and their ability to find their own peace. I am a seasoned licensed therapist with mental health leadership and counseling experience in community services and forensic psychology spheres. I have historically worked with clients who are in transition as they exit prison and begin to recreate their lives in a changing world. I specialize in working with groups including LGBTQIA, people of color, immigrants, and women to assist with navigating and reaffirming their sense of self.

My professional focal points include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy with a person-centered approach. My therapy style is one that assists clients in becoming their own agents of change. I use a down-to-earth humanistic approach, which focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment for authentic self-expression. I blend these approaches to fit the individual needs of the client. I work from the “here and now” perspective to assist clients with building coping strategies and engaging in mindfulness activities to alleviate their concerns that motivated them to come to therapy.

I look forward to meeting you and using my skills and knowledge to assist you on this important journey of healing and self-discovery.
