Hello, I’m Jeanette. With high levels of integrity, empathy, and intuition, I strive to create a supportive and understanding environment for my clients. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and strengths-based, meaning I draw from a variety of methods to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. I incorporate Trauma-Informed Care, Psychodynamic Theory, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-based approaches to help you navigate your journey towards healing and growth.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado, with over two decades of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with older adults, adults, and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences. My professional journey has taken me to various settings, including outpatient community mental health centers, adoption and foster youth agencies, urban and suburban public schools, domestic violence agencies, city and government agencies, and even providing therapy to active duty service members and their families in Germany.
While I have experience in many areas, I specialize in supporting clients through Life Transitions, Intimate/Romantic Relationship issues, Parenting issues, Grief and Loss, and Trauma. My goal is to help you find the strength within yourself to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth.
As you are the expert on your life, my job is to assist in helping you bring to light your inner wisdom to explore and heal on your life journey. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and work diligently to build trust and rapport with my clients. Together, we will explore your concerns and develop strategies to address them in a meaningful and effective way.
If you’re ready to take the first step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to create the change you seek.
