I’m Judy Taub, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years of experience practicing in Colorado. My journey began as a wilderness therapist with Outward Bound, where I supported adolescents facing substance abuse challenges. Although I’ve since moved away from wilderness therapy, the experiential and practical elements from that time continue to influence my work today.
For the past three decades, I have had the privilege of working with graduate and undergraduate students at the counseling center at CU Boulder, providing individual, couples, and group therapy. In addition to my clinical work, I oversaw all clinical services at the center and provided supervision and training for staff.
As an active and engaged therapist, I blend humor, compassion, and a strong therapeutic relationship to help clients explore what isn’t working in their lives. Together, we can uncover the reasons behind these challenges and identify what needs to change for you to thrive.
I have witnessed the profound impact therapy can have, and I am deeply grateful and honored when individuals choose to share their journeys with me. Let’s embark on this path toward understanding and growth together.
