Through my own experiences with my mental health and my belief in the best of the human spirit, I became inspired to help others towards their own healing and self-discovery. I have always been fascinated by the ways in which humans grow and develop through relationships and their experiences. Valuing authenticity, humor, and self-compassion, I work to empower my clients to heal through their innate strengths and through their connections to others. I aim to provide a safe, intentional space to build a therapeutic relationship and for my clients to gain insight and make the changes they desire.
From my experiences working with survivors of domestic violence, those struggling with addiction, and individuals in the criminal justice system, I have further learned of my passion to work with others who have endured trauma and loss. Using a humanistic, yet eclectic approach, I integrate the power of neuroscience, trauma-informed and mindfulness-based practices to create a different therapeutic experience for each of my clients, as every person is unique.
In my free time, you can find me adventuring outside, running, adding to my already overflowing collection of plants, or spending time with loved ones and pets.
