Life’s inevitable transitions, moments of loss, grief, trauma, or identity crisis can leave us feeling lost and uncertain as we navigate the darkness of the unknown. Katherine specializes in supporting individuals during these challenging times, guiding them to explore the depths of their inner worlds and emerge with greater clarity, strength, and resilience.

Combining her academic knowledge and life experience, Katherine empowers clients to delve into hidden aspects of themselves to cultivate a renewed sense of self-awareness and well-being. Her dual Master’s degrees in Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy and Eastern Spiritual Traditions (Buddhist, Hindu, non-dual, tantric, and yogic traditions) provide a strong foundation for her work. Active duty military service, extensive travels in Asia, and over a decade as a yoga teacher and mindfulness instructor inform her holistic approach to mental health counseling. If you’re longing to get to know yourself better and mindfully step into a new way of being, she will walk alongside you on your journey.

Katherine’s transpersonal lens views our lives as intricate tapestries woven from all of life’s experiences, the joys and sorrows, creating our own unique stories. This approach goes beyond traditional therapy to create a personal exploration of your connection to nature, your sense of self, and your relationship with the world around you.

This interconnectedness inspires Katherine’s therapeutic method, which explores the liminal spaces at the edges of inner and outer landscapes. Within this framework, psychology and ecology weave together, fostering an expansive sense of self that becomes part of the fabric of the whole. Curious about the wisdom of the natural world and diverse cultural worldviews, Katherine incorporates elements from Deep Ecology, Mythopoetics, Narrative Therapy, parts work, somatic practices, mindfulness practices, mythology, folklore, ceremony, ritual, and rites of passage.

Katherine’s approach creates a safe space for you to explore your mind-body-spirit-community connection, gain clarity, deepen a sense of belonging, and rewrite or reclaim the beauty of your life’s story. Together, you can uncover the deeper meaning of your experiences and build resilience to navigate future challenges with newfound strength and purpose.
