Thank you for being here, for reading my profile, and starting your therapeutic journey! I’m glad you’re here. As humans, we are relational and need others to thrive. I firmly believe the relationships we hold – with others and with oneself – impacts our overall wellbeing. This concept has been the focus of my experience in this field which has allowed me to have opportunity to work with diverse populations: people who have been involved in the judicial system, have been impacted by domestic and family violence, and children and their caregivers.
Positive therapeutic outcomes are more likely with a strong therapeutic alliance. With this, I seek to be a warm and comforting person for you to work with. I will strive to get to know you so we can utilize your current strengths, drive, and motivations to support your therapeutic goals in a comprehensive and sustainable way. Throughout my career, I have utilized modalities such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in conjunction with a focus on the relationship between the mind, body, and spirit. I love to utilize grounding and mindfulness techniques to support one’s attunement to oneself. With most of my clinical experience being rooted in CBT, I am eager to learn and grow in my experience with EMDR and Neurofeedback as these two models have such wonderful outcomes. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
During my free time, I’m quick to find some good food paired with a nice, sun shining patio with some good, live music playing. I love spending time with my friends, partner, and our silly pets.
