Hi, I’m Sophie! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver. I specialize in working with young adults navigating life transitions, relational challenges, and personal growth, as well as couples at all stages and types of relationships.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming and vulnerable, and it takes courage to take that first step. I’m here to meet you where you are at to help make the process feel approachable and empowering.
I believe therapy is a deeply personal journey, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Each person’s story is unique, and I work collaboratively with my clients to explore the tools and techniques that will best support their growth and transformation. Through a person-centered and integrative approach, I tend to draw from ACT, DBT, Gottman Method, and Intersubjectivity theories, always tailoring our work to your specific needs and goals.
In sessions, we’ll focus on self discovery and building resilience as you navigate life’s challenges with authenticity and self-compassion. My aim is to provide a safe and accepting environment where you can explore, grow, and create meaningful change at your own pace.
When appropriate, my therapy-trained golden retriever, Marty, joins us in sessions to provide comfort and support through Animal-Assisted Therapy. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your path toward growth and healing!
