Attention is one of the most powerful gifts we can give. I embody this philosophy in my practice by striving to listen well, to understand you, to find the good that has been ignored or buried, and to name themes and beliefs that keep you stuck. I enjoy working with adults who are mired by anxiety, panic, depression, disordered eating, relationship difficulties, compulsions, addictions, or who are having difficulty adjusting to life circumstances. I am highly relational, meaning therapy with me feels like talking to an interested and compassionate friend.
In therapy, you and I will examine key stories of your life and identify areas where you feel stuck. From there, we’ll use tools that target the behaviors and feelings you’d like to change. Therapy will look slightly different for everyone, but may include cultivating strengths, examining your thoughts, and looking at behavioral patterns to spur change.
