Sydney has experience treating folks struggling with depression, anxiety, women’s issues, relationships, attachment, self growth and self awareness, and addiction recovery. Sydney’s focus is to help folks heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing therapy goals. Sydney partners with folks who want to "reinvent" themselves due to significant life transitions such as job loss, break-up/divorce, addiction, codependency and more. Sydney supports the unique needs of her clients by utilizing Cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and person-centered therapy.
Prior to her work at Ignite, Sydney worked in various clinical environments such as private practice providing individual therapy and group intensives for adults, working in a local hospital on the Mom/Baby floor providing support, community resources, and psycho-education related to pre and postpartum mental health. Sydney also worked at various treatment centers providing group, individual therapy and case management services for those struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
When Sydney is not working you will likely find her spending time with her Husband and two dogs, friends or extended family, going to new restaurants or reading a new thriller.
