Bill Brewer is a licensed marriage & family therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in Colorado. Bill has experience working with clients with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, including trauma, mood disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, LGBTQ+, life transitions, and much more.
Bill has a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Loretto Heights College, Denver and a Master of Arts in Marital & Family Therapy/Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Clinical Art Therapy has allowed Bill to marry his passion for art with his quest to understand the human condition, helping many clients find creative new paths to self awareness and healing.
Bill’s approach to therapy comes from a client-centered orientation, informed by family systems therapy, psychodynamic theory, and trauma informed therapy. His goal is to meet clients where they are through exploring their personal history and the context of the concerns/issues they bring to therapy. He provides a safe place to speak openly, honestly and without fear of judgement, supported by deep compassion, an unwavering belief in the resilience of the human spirit and the ability to change and grow.
