My name is Brittany Hart, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works in Littleton and Arvada. I am so glad you are taking the first and often challenging step to seek positive change in your life. I believe that every person can grow, change, and live more fulfilling lives. I strive to work alongside my clients to help them reach their goals. It is essential that I provide a secure, authentic, and collaborative environment where clients feel they can explore, process, and reach their therapeutic goals. The therapeutic relationship is extremely important, and I encourage you to contact me to see if we would be a good fit.
I have experience working with a wide range of difficulties and ages. I see individual children, teens, and adults. I am trained in many different therapeutic modalities, which allows me to assess and provide the therapeutic framework that fits best for the client. I specialize in working with trauma survivors. I am trained in EMDR, Safe and Sound Protocol, and the Flash technique. I also specialize in working with children as young as three years old, ranging from helping a recently adopted child to children having difficulties with ADHD or ODD. I use non-directive and directive play therapy techniques. Before my work as a therapist, I was an elementary school teacher, which allowed me to work with children and families facing various difficulties. Other therapeutic techniques I use regularly include ACT, CBT, and DBT. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, and I look forward to partnering with you to help you reach your goals.
