Teletherapy/Virtual Sessions

As a freshman in undergrad starting my second semester, I started experiencing symptoms of anxiety. These symptoms increased in severity and ultimately led to a panic attack that sent me to the ER. I felt scared, hopeless, and lost. Post panic attack, I sought out therapy for the first time in my life. Therapy offered me an intentional space to process my experiences and emotions. It was during this time that I realized I wanted to be able to offer that same space to others.

Active listening, being empathetic, and showing compassion for others during tough times are my natural strengths. I also believe that people have the natural skills and sense of purpose that enable them to push forward when times get tough. Wanting change or wanting to work through traumatic events in our lives can seem like a daunting task. I believe that therapy should be a place where clients can navigate changes and events without shame or judgment. I invite clients into this brave space to explore difficult topics and emotions. I provide a collaborative, strength based, and holistic approach where clients walk away empowered. I support each client to leave every therapy session with a greater understanding of themself and confidence to tackle life’s challenges.

In my free time, I enjoy skiing, watching sports, disc golf, and playing with my dogs. I am also an avid roller coaster enthusiast.
