You have a human right to be heard. There is no right way to share, so take a seat and I will join you wherever you are. Is communication complicated? Maybe you are not meeting goals or getting your needs met at home, work, or school. Anxiety, trauma, family conflict and a host of other life challenges make the simplest efforts overwhelming. Whether you are braving depression, anxiety, autism, or some other challenge, we will explore your story together and identify your needs.
Our journey will be a collaborative effort in which you are the guide and expert of your life. I am there challenging unhelpful thought patterns, locating resources, and helping you harness your own mental power. I often use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy but also take an eclectic approach based on the needs of my individual clients.
My roots are in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (it’s not in the mitten!) but I am now in Denver after 11 years in Chicago proper. I love exploring new countries and cities and am steeped in cultural experiences. I am proactive about processing faith and diversity issues. Heaven is the beach. A hike in the mountains is right up there with it.
