Hello, I am so glad you are here. I work with individual adults, ages 18 and older, facing various life situations and challenges including relationship struggles, life transitions, divorce recovery, grief and loss, spirituality, codependency, anxiety and depression and trauma. I have more than 10 years of experience in mental health counseling. My passion is helping clients discover truth, and experience healing and transformation.
I believe it is important to journey alongside each client, actively working together to achieve their goals and realize their full potential. I use a combination of approaches to provide for the best possible care to my clients including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, solution-focused and Christian spiritual approaches (if requested) into my work. I offer a safe place for my clients to heal, and; when feeling stuck, offer tools and suggestions in order to help them move forward.
In the first session, it’s important to establish rapport and connection with each of my clients. This fosters a safe environment for them to share freely. As my clients share their life situations and challenges that brought them into counseling, I use empathetic listening and a person-centered approach in order to best know how to serve them.
