Teletherapy/Virtual Sessions

I would be honored to walk alongside you as you continue on life’s journey. I look forward to joining you in deciphering stumbling blocks, both behind and in front of you. Our work together will help clear your path and ease your way. I truly believe in the transformative power of therapy and cherish my role in the lives of the individuals who cross my path. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals embrace their individual gifts, build their own support systems, and re-write the negative scripts in their head. I have recently pursued specialized training in perinatal care and have a special place in my heart for moms who are exploring all aspects of their new identity.

Although I have my doctorate in psychology, my role is very different from that of a medical doctor. When we work together, it is a collaborative relationship. You are not coming to me to be “fixed,” because you are already perfectly whole as you are. Rather, we will work together to get you closer to the life you desire.

I have worked in many different settings in the past, and love the synergy that occurs when all of the systems in which an individual exists work together. I am excited to offer flexible appointment times that allow you to fit mental health into your busy schedule, and am primarily providing telehealth appointments at this time. I work well with adolescents, adults, and seniors. I primarily provide services in English.

Prior to graduate school, I provided in home services for families with children on the spectrum. During my graduate training, I worked in outpatient and inpatient settings, school and university settings. I am constantly pursuing training to improve my cultural humility and to better serve the communities I serve. In the past, I have provided psychological evaluation services in an outpatient clinical setting. I look forward to providing those services at Along Your Journey soon.

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado. I previously completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in Irvine, California, and my Master of Arts and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in San Diego, California. I have completed over 3,000 training hours in psychology and passed licensing exams. I am required to receive ongoing education in order to maintain my license. I have specialized training in perinatal mood disorders and am pursuing certification currently.

I have focused on the study of psychology since the age of 16. I feel passionately about the transformative power of therapy, and have witnessed change in my own life, and the lives of those around me as a result. I try to use my clinical knowledge to live a fulfilled and balanced life. Part of that balance includes prioritizing time with my family and friends, enjoying time alone and in nature, and laughing often.
