I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health, am a Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC), am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and have trained in EMDR. I have experience working with various people in a variety of settings, in both the agency and private sector.
I have lived in orphanages/schools in third world countries, worked with adults and children with special needs, taught in the Boulder Valley school district, and have coached CrossFit to both children and adults. With that said, I enjoy and appreciate working with a variety of people. I sincerely believe it is a privilege to be invited into other people’s lives through hearing their stories.
On a personal note, I love learning, being outside in the sunshine, traveling, working out, and spending time with friends and family. Being an aunt is one of the greatest privileges I have and brings me great joy. I try to make it to the beach at least once a year, listen to podcasts that teach me new things, and every once in awhile take time to binge on a show on Netflix because self-care matters.
