I became a counselor to help others who have experienced challenges that make their life difficult and are ready for change. As a first responder spouse, and trained trauma therapist, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges, stressors, and traumas that many responders and their families face. Using my experience, training and lived experience to meet you where you are whether your challenges are related to career or your personal life. My role is to help you feel loved, supported, to show up without judgement and hold space for whatever you bring to session. Together we will work to process past experiences, develop new coping techniques and implement strategies to support wellness in your mind, body and spirit in a welcoming and calm environment.
My ideal counseling client is motivated and committed to making positive changes in their lives. They actively work on implementing strategies and techniques discussed in therapy. They have a willingness to examine their own thoughts, beliefs, and patterns of behavior, which enhances the therapeutic process and promotes personal growth. If you’re considering counseling, I encourage you to reach out and connect with me. We will work together to discuss whether counseling is right for you and if we will be a good fit.
Taking the first step can be intimidating, but it can lead to significant positive changes in your life!
