I believe that human beings are resilient, and that we have the ability to recover from the unimaginable. I also believe that we shouldn’t have to recover on our own, and that recovery becomes much more possible when we have the support of others. I believe we are stronger together. That love, empathy, and understanding are the key ingredients to happiness and to worthiness. I believe you are worthy of the space to explore and uncover who you are meant to be. You are worthy of your dreams, no matter how big or small. You are worthy of having needs. You are worthy of being seen for who you truly are.
I am licensed as both a professional counselor and an addictions counselor and am trained in EMDR. I have over a decade of experience working in both private practice setting, as well as inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities. My specialties include working with substance abuse and addictions, shame, parenting and relationship concerns, trauma, depression, anxiety, boundary setting, as well as women’s and postpartum issues. I also work with family members of those struggling from addictions and help loved ones regain their sense of self after focusing their time and energy on others.
The ability to recover is beautiful, and often painful. I want you to know that you are not alone. That you are courageous for seeking help. And that here, you have found an ally to navigate the challenges you’ve been facing.
