Being a first-generation Latina growing up in rural Texas, my experiences with discrimination, oppression, and lack of access to adequate culturally affirming care, have made me passionate about providing liberating, affirming, and anti-oppressive quality care.
My training and professional experience has focused on a cultural and relational perspective, a systems-focused, and trauma-informed as the key elements in my practice. My style is integrative, mindful and rooted in social justice. I support people dealing with depression, intergenerational trauma, cultural adjustments, and relational distress. My goal is to provide effective and quality care through safety, compassion, encouragement, and empowerment. I’m committed to being your ally and working collaboratively to navigate through feelings of overwhelm and distress, increase your self-awareness, and feel empowered in your journey. If we work together, we will focus on your inner strengths, needs and experiences, history and culture, and values to help you reach your goals.
