Megan Hutchinson, LCSW

Trauma has been defined as any experience that’s beyond our ability to cope with or conceptualize. The aftermath of trauma often leaves us with strong emotions that we cannot make sense of, which can lead to self doubt, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I enjoy working with motivated women focused on processing trauma and increasing insight into the root cause of unhelpful/unhealthy patterns and relationships in their lives. Exploring these difficult experiences through an attachment lens helps us understand and change unhelpful/unhealthy patterns in our lives.

I believe that we all hold the knowledge of what is best for our own lives but sometimes need a gentle guide to help us find our path. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space where you will feel comfortable expressing difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences. I specialize in EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Therapy.

A collaborative relationship between client and clinician is essential in fostering a sense of autonomy in one’s therapy process. Therapy is not one size fits all and requires the right fit between client and clinician. I would be honored to connect with you to see if I am the right fit for your healing journey!
