Paula Hilborn is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Temple University and earned her Master’s in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University in 2013. Paula has worked in a variety of behavioral health settings with individuals ages 5 and up.
Paula approaches each case with a client-centered, holistic perspective. She draws on principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) while incorporating a strengths-based approach in developing treatment goals with each individual.
Paula has experience treating depression, anxiety, self-injurious behavior, adjustment disorders, behavioral disorders, and mood disorders. Paula has a special clinical interest in maternal mental health and strives to support new moms with the transition into motherhood.
