Therapy with me is active, engaging, and thought-provoking. I will encourage you to explore and help you to change how you relate to your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and beliefs in an environment where you feel safe to be yourself and where you feel heard and accepted. I work with people who seek deeper meaning in their lives, greater understanding of themselves, and who are interested in “leaving no stone unturned” in the search for greater self-understanding and self-acceptance. Doing the hard work of therapy takes courage, commitment, and time. But it is worth it and the changes you seek in your life are possible.
You will find me to have a calming and approachable demeanor, and to be caring and easy to talk to. I draw from many schools of thought, but my goal is always to foster awareness and curiosity about your experiences of life, and to give you tools to help you overcome the obstacles you face so you can create a life you enjoy living.
