Samantha Stack, MA, NCC, LPC

Samantha (she/her), MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a graduate from Governors State University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She is trained in maternal mental health therapy through Postpartum Support International. Samantha is passionate about supporting women/birthing persons struggling with perinatal mood disorders and anxiety, transitions into parenthood and family of origin activation. Samantha brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the mental health field including over 5 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in community mental health, acute and chronic mental health and crisis intervention and the last 3 years in private practice helping adults heal from childhood trauma and relational difficulties. After struggling to conceive and experiencing postpartum anxiety and depression, she understands the importance of feeling supported and nurtured in this time of change. Samantha leans into a trauma and attachment-informed approach with pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. She strives to create a safe and authentic connection with clients to allow clients to become aware and connected to their full self. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys hiking, cooking, reading and spending time with her husband and their two children.
