Change is an ongoing process and as a therapist my role is to help you as you find the right direction. I will assist you on your journey of self-reflection and help you navigate life’s challenges. In our work together, I will do my best to help you identify any blind spots that are present and my goal will be to guide you with empathy and compassion as you discover newly found motivation and courage. You have taken the first step towards personal growth and I am glad you are beginning your journey towards a healthier way of being.
I became a therapist because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue lasting change. With a systems approach, we will explore the interconnected nature of all aspects in your life. With a deeper understanding of these connections, you will be provided a non-judgmental space for self-reflection as we will begin thoughtful exploration, uncovering insights that lead to long lasting changes within yourself and the relationships you have with those around you.
I have extensive clinical experience serving clients in the fields of mental health, substance use, and the criminal justice system. I have worked with individuals and groups within different levels of care including inpatient detox, inpatient mental health, outpatient addictions treatment, and facilitation of domestic violence and relapse prevention groups. With an understanding of addictions, attachment theory, and interpersonal dynamics I look forward to assisting you while you begin your transformative journey of deep reflection and lasting change.
