It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help, and you have taken the most difficult first step in seeking the support you need and deserve. There are many things that can cause feelings of overwhelm, stress, confusion or being unsure how to manage intense emotions. These things can be anything from our daily life stressors of today, to early childhood experiences, and everything in between. l view the process of counseling as a journey of self-exploration by the client, meant to increase his or her level of self-understanding and self-awareness. I am here to act as a guide or facilitator of this journey and to help you develop and believe in your ability to prevail, cope and thrive in your life.

I primarily work with both children and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, daily life stressors, and behavioral challenges. I utilize cognitive behavioral techniques, relationship building, and trauma informed approaches to help uncover what may be the underlying root issue to help foster change, growth and personal empowerment. Together we will work to establish a trusting and supportive working relationship that will provide a safe space to explore your goals and seek long term solutions.
