We are emotional creatures. We want to connect. We want to be loved. We want to belong. It is this sense of belonging that has always pulled me back into my truth, into becoming a therapist with genuine compassion and desire to help cultivate more growth in the world. My path has been unpredictable and filled with challenges; challenges that sometimes pushed me into resiliency and sometimes discouraged me to the point of losing my voice. It has been this reflection that has motivated me to nurture my truth and foster a deeper sense of belonging in others.
I believe in the power of relationship and have a Person-Centered approach to therapy. I provide an authentic and empathic warmth that generates a supportive environment. I thrive on helping clients find empowerment and gently guide them by tickling their defenses and walking with them on the edge of discomfort. I believe growth happens when challenges are explored in small doses. Overall, my goal is to help people feel supported and help them build a healthy and balanced life.
In my free time, I love to play with my dogs, practice yoga, and bake cookies.
