Collective Counseling Solutions Nominated for Start-Up of the Year

We are proud to announce that our team at Collective Counseling Solutions has been nominated for The Business Awards! Each year the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce recognizes outstanding businesses in six categories: large nonprofit, small nonprofit, women or BIPOC-owned, small business, start-up, and disruptor of the year.

The goal of this award ceremony is to recognize the organizations that are writing Denver’s next chapter in business. Each year all the award applicants are narrowed down to three finalists in each category and the winners will be announced live at an event on April 29.

Collective Counseling Services has been nominated for best start-up of the year! Whether we win or lose, we are honored to be selected; we are proud of our team and plan to continue making an impact in our community. We desire to push the counseling industry in a new direction to serve patients and counselors better.

Our Co-Owners, Nicholas Mancini, LPC, LMFT, and Eric Hilborn, LPC founded Collective Counseling Solutions with one goal in mind. They streamed the administrative duties of private practice to focus their energy on providing the highest quality of clinical care for their growing practices. Operating an independent and autonomous practice calls for a lot of decision-making and the challenging task of navigating commercial insurance policies.

Nick and Eric quickly realized that through collaboration and mutual support, they could streamline this process for themselves and other therapists who also desire to serve their patients well without being bogged down by endless paperwork, and the Collective was born.

Nick and Eric have expanded their practice to include therapists in 10 states and are growing more each day. They understand the challenges of private practice and the importance of mental health and are passionate about connecting patients to quality counselors. In addition, Nick and Eric have learned to use collective bargaining power to increase the contracted rates with insurers while referring prospective clients within a trusted network, which provides a better counseling experience for both patients and counselors.

Nick and Eric have a combined vision to build a collective of skilled and passionate clinicians in private practice committed to growth, professional development, and accessibility to care for clients wishing to use their insurance benefits. In a field that often demands counselors to give of themselves, they hope to create a system that gives back.

We are tremendously honored to be recognized by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce for this prestigious award. We are passionate about serving our community well and plan to continue serving both counselors and patients for years to come!
