Are you struggling to understand your emotional reactions to different situations? Are you feeling ruled by these emotions without the ability to healthily cope with them or tolerate them? As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe and open space to allow you to express your emotions and to better understand and relate to your authentic self. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and during your therapeutic journey, I aim to guide you in making choices and learning skills to reach the quality of life that you are looking for. I value working as a collaborative team with my clients and you can rely on me to be an honest and compassionate support in your life.
I enjoy working with both individuals and couples utilizing a person-centered, strengths-based approach paired with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness skills. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) who is pursuing growth and development to become independently licensed. I am also a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), and have been working with individuals with substance addictions as well as co-occurring mental health symptoms. I can also provide therapeutic services through Acu-detox/5NP, Brain Spotting to assist with traumatic experiences, and the Gottman Method when working with couples.
I work with you to find the most effective approach for strengthening and improving your relationship both with yourself, and with others. I am committed to supporting you every step of the way, ensuring that your path to wellness is tailored to your personal goals and circumstances. I’m excited to learn more about you during our free 15 minute consultation call!
