Hello! My name is Justin. I am a dynamic therapist that has helped people work through a variety of different challenges throughout my career in mental health. I guide people towards identifying their strengths, gifts and opportunities. I support my clients in building skills to help them strengthen their relationships, and improve their ability to have more constructive communication and meaningful connection.
Practicing mindfulness, calming the nervous system, and engaging in activities that bring us joy are all ways we can learn to thrive in this life. I believe that the more we are capable of living in the present moment, the more we are able to address our anxieties and depressions. As we know, the mind and body are integrally connected. I incorporate mindfulness practice and help clients regulate their nervous system, as I believe these are key factors in positive therapeutic outcomes.
Many of my clients’ gain a deeper understanding of how their history impacts their current experience. I support people to holistically work through their feelings regarding their past, and what might hold them back from what they most want in their lives. Recognizing our own patterns and attachment styles can help us improve our relationships, and ourselves. One of my primary objectives is to deconstruct walls between my clients’ and the people they love the most. I prioritize cultivating a safe environment for clients to access security within themselves, and ultimately, show up more authentically in their lives and connections.
I work with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. My practice is trauma-informed, person-centered, and draws primarily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal-Family Systems, and Emotionally–Focused Therapy. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or inquiries.
