Change can be hard to navigate because it sends us into the unknown. We don't know what comes next or how to navigate it. The mix of emotions and responses may feel like they're too much, too fast. Change may come in the form of death, moving, divorce, work change, or shifting societal structures. Working with loss, grief, and life transitions involves giving space to the confusing mix of experiences and listening to each part of you that comes up without rushing. I work with adults and adolescents navigating loss, change, trauma, and multicultural themes and who seek relief from the overwhelm that may accompany those.
Together we will get to know all the parts of you as supports and guides in your healing while using a gentle and open approach. We will center befriending each part, its longing, fear, and wisdom. In a collaborative and creative way, we will explore the underlying layers to the challenges you're facing. I use parts, somatic, and contemplative modalities.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My training includes the Embodied Social Justice Certificate (Embody Lab, 2021), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy: Trauma Themes (2024), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy: Developmental and Relational Themes (2025), Death, Dying, and Mourning (Naropa University, 2025), The Dos and Don'ts of Counseling Neurodivergent Clients (2025). My work experience includes crisis support, immigrant mental health, and community mental settings and have served the LGBTQ, BIPOC, and neurodiverse communities.
I provide Telehealth and in-person services, including Walk-and-Talk Therapy. It can be hard to figure out who might be a good fit when seeking a therapist, which is why setting up a consultation provides you an opportunity to get to know me, ask me questions, hear more about my approach, and feel things out. Give me a call or email to schedule a free consultation to explore if its a good fit for you.
