I believe well-being and a satisfying life is about creating enough space inside ourselves that our messiness and our brilliance may co-exist, allowing us to align our actions with what matters most to us. Cultivating this inner spacious container means developing friendliness towards ourselves, tuning into our whole being, and harnessing our strengths for their wisdom. In practical terms, we will collaboratively identify a focus for the session, perhaps a current stressor or ongoing theme of stress, anxiety, or trauma. From there, we will develop supports and practices unique to you, or process past wounds, anxieties, or grief. Each session, we will take time to digest new insights, beliefs, and well-being. The entire process unfolds through mindful exploration of physical sensations, movement, posture, emotions, memories, and beliefs. Tending to the impacts of systems of oppressive influences while harvesting cultural wisdom is central to my approach.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a combined six years of experience between clinical mental health and suicide and crisis intervention work. The bulk of my clinical experience has been serving BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQ, and neurodivergent communities. I am passionate about working with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, life changes, marginalization, sexual trauma, or relational/developmental wounding. I provide telehealth and in-person services, including Walk-and-Talk Therapy.
On the personal side, I enjoy plant parenting, creating herbal tea blends, knitting, reading, backpacking, practicing Kung Fu, meditating, and hanging out with family and friends. I look forward to connecting and joining you on your healing journey!
