At its core, my approach is rooted in connection and relationships. As your therapist, I value being fully present, understanding, and authentic as I get to know you and your goals. When working with individuals, I hold the belief that we are all experts in our own experiences. From there, we can begin to explore the roots of our stories and the patterns that may have kept us feeling stuck or caught in unhelpful cycles.
I hold a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Ethnic Studies from University of Colorado Boulder. I began my therapy career working in a nonprofit setting, providing high-quality trauma treatment to children, families, and adults. Through this work, I discovered a deep passion for building therapeutic relationships that feel safe, engaging, and real.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), an EMDR certified therapist, as well as a certified FirstPlay practitioner. I utilize EMDR in sessions along with interventions and ideas from ACT, CBT and IFS.
As a clinician who came to this work through my own experiences with therapy, I approach the therapeutic relationship with a commitment to honesty, humor, and hope.
