Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin moving toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and your own. I work collaboratively with clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship stress, identity development, and the challenges of feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves.
My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in evidence. I believe meaningful change happens through both compassion and action: making room for difficult emotions, understanding the patterns that keep you stuck, and building concrete skills that help you live more in alignment with your values. I draw from acceptance- and mindfulness-based approaches, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based counseling.
Before coming to Better Life, I earned a PhD in neuroscience and studied how stress and trauma shape the body, brain, and long-term health. That background informs my deep respect for the ways our histories live in both mind and body. In our work together, my goal is to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, reconnect with what matters, and take meaningful steps toward healing.
