Hi, I’m Etamar (pronounced Eee-Tah-Mar)! Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a little support navigating the road ahead. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed or burned out, experiencing relationship difficulties, or simply trying to better understand yourself, I believe meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely heard, understood, and supported.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience working with adolescents and young adults in clinical and educational settings. I enjoy helping teens, college students, and adults of all ages navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and life’s many transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
While feeling heard and understood is essential, I also believe therapy should be an active process where we challenge old patterns, explore new perspectives, and work together toward meaningful change. I’ll meet you where you are while helping you recognize your strengths, build confidence, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I tailor our work to your individual needs, recognizing that everyone’s path toward growth looks a little different.
Above all, I believe therapy is a genuine partnership built on trust, curiosity, and authentic connection. Growth isn’t always a straight line, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, photography, practicing Muay Thai, and spending time with my dog, Shoko.
I’m licensed in Colorado, Massachusetts, and Texas, offering in-person sessions in Colorado and virtual therapy throughout all three states.
