After 30 years as a therapist, I bring extensive experience helping adolescents and adults manage trauma, anxiety, depression, postpartum challenges, and major life transitions. I particularly enjoy working with women navigating the emotional and psychological changes that can accompany pregnancy, parenting, perimenopause and menopause. I truly believe that no matter what we’ve been through, healing and growth are always possible. I've seen it through my own practice many times.
I specialize in helping people process past traumas, helping clients face negative memories and regconizing how it can affect negitive patterens in our present life, I tell my clients that many times our anxiety, depression or trauma are managing us, with my help, you will learn how to manage your own mental health. We can't erase our traumas or past, but we can learn from them and learn how to move on, not let them hold us down, hold us back. Be present in your life, in control, not a spectator. Take your control back.
I draw on decades of experience to create a safe, empathic, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. I also have the unique experience of doing crisis counseling for an Au Pair company for the last 8 years, so I have extensive experience working with clients from all over the world, different religious beliefs and cultures.
