Therapy with Maria is a resting place where your true nature can unfold. Maria’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and contemplative, structured and freeform. Through exploring the intersection of personal and collective identity, desire and satisfaction, spirituality and sexuality, emptiness and wholeness, we can discover the path of remembering who we are and why we are here. By harnessing the power of the present moment, we can tune our attention to the beauty (and messiness!) of life’s transitions and transform our negative energies into love – for self, earth, and other.
Maria’s grounded and practical approach provides a brave space for healing and growth. Her therapy approach is a creative dance. Weaving modern neuroscience and ancient wisdom traditions, Maria supports clients to slow down, reconnect with Earth’s rhythms, and remember your true nature. Maria's training is rooted in the indigenous practices of Hatha Yoga, Sri Vidya Tantra Meditation, Trauma Recovery, Vajrayana Buddhism, Reiki, Deathwork, Somatic Psychology, and Parent-Infant Psychotherapy. I also integrate methods from EMDR, CBT, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT, Systems-Centered Couples Therapy, and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy.
