Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. Finding the right counseling support is an important step, and I’m honored you’re taking time to explore your options.
I’ve been a counselor since 2004, working with teens, young adults, adults, and parents. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach—partnering with clients to create a plan that aligns with their goals, values, and nervous system needs.
A central focus of my work is helping people understand and regulate their nervous system so they can feel more present, engaged, and connected in their lives. My approach integrates mindfulness and self-compassion with evidence-based and body-centered practices, including yoga, DBT, Brainspotting, Applied Polyvagal Theory, listening therapies, and mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Licensed School Counselor, and Brainspotting Practitioner. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with advanced training in Yoga Psychology, and I am trained and certified in the Unyte listening therapies, including the Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore.
My trauma informed and brain sensitive training focus gives me the tools to work with individuals wanting to heal mind-body-brain from chronic stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma. My experience as a School Counselor gives me the expertise to support educators struggling with burnout and parents advocating for their child's success in school and life.
Seeking a counselor for yourself, can be overwhelming and goodness of fit is so important. It is always my intention to bring compassion, kindness, and a bit of humor and fun to our sessions. With my yoga and mindfulness skills, I work to end our sessions with you feeling grounded, present, strong, and calm. I look forward to connecting with you to see if I could be a good fit for you.
