Devan considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they explore their stories. Her work is grounded in shared safety, genuine connection, and honest communication, creating space for clients to thoughtfully engage the complexity of their experiences. She believes that the details of our lives matter, and helps clients understand how formative moments from the past shape present patterns in relationships, identity, and daily life.
Devan specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and complex trauma, including religious trauma, spiritual abuse, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, attachment wounds, and family-of-origin difficulties. She also has extensive experience working with fellow therapists, and with clients navigating medical trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, relational challenges, emotional disconnection, life transitions, and grief. Her approach is holistic, integrating emotional and somatic healing while helping clients access their inherent strengths and cultivate new internal resources for growth.
