When you feel unsure, stressed or simply not like yourself, any decision can feel overwhelming and challenging to navigate. This uncertainty combined with symptoms of depression, anxiety, or trauma can lead to feeling paralyzed and burnt out. Working together in therapy can be a supportive and gentle antidote to this paralysis and fatigue. I believe in being kind, direct and action-oriented in therapy, and I look forward to helping you find a direction, and confidence in your direction, in our time together. I practice from a strengths based, trauma informed perspective and believe forming a strong therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance.
I have over 15 years experience as s clinician, and particular specialties in working with the LGBTQ+ community, young adults in early career years, and those navigating infertility, transitioning into parenthood, pregnancy loss, and postpartum struggles. We can develop a treatment plan that covers the concerns you bring to the table on a timeline that feels workable and reassuring.
My clients have shared they appreciate my holistic approach, as I'm fully trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and perinatal mental health. My clients also enjoy strengthening the mind-body connection as a means to assist with trauma treatment.
