Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I believe therapy can be a catalyst for profound change and transformation—and by being here, you've already taken the first step.
As a therapist, I take an active and collaborative approach in sessions. I utilize active listening and engaging questions to help you explore your life, challenges, and patterns. My work is grounded in a psychodynamic lens, meaning I see a strong connection between past experiences and present struggles. Together, we will explore how your past may be influencing your current emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of self. With this awareness, we will develop tools and coping strategies to help you manage symptoms, foster resilience, and move toward healing and wholeness.
I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches will help us increase awareness of thoughts, beliefs, narratives and emotions, build distress tolerance, cultivate mindfulness, and explore the internal parts of you—both those that offer strength and those that may be holding you back. With over eight years of clinical experience, I have worked extensively with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, behavioral addictions, codependency, identity exploration, grief and loss, and other challenges. My background gives me a holistic, systems-based perspective, I understand that we are shaped by both our environments and experiences, and I believe effective therapy must consider the full picture of who you are.
I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting individuals across the lifespan, from adolescence to older adulthood. I believe the therapeutic relationship should be a safe and trusting space that both nurtures and challenges. My goal is to provide the support, insight, and tools you need to create lasting change and live more authentically.
