"The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts." – Marcus Aurelius
This quote captures the essence of therapeutic change and reflects my approach to working with clients.
Working in a humanistic and conversational way that is both down-to-earth and personable, I help my clients understand themselves: how they think, what they believe, who they see themselves as in their lives, and how they relate to themselves and other people. It it through this understanding that I help my clients see the bigger picture of their lives, both changing patterns that don’t serve them and cultivating unconditional self-acceptance, so they can feel more empowered to be themselves yet equipped with the tools to change in ways that often lead to greater happiness and fulfillment as well as more resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
I have advanced training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York. REBT is the framework by which I help my client change. By going beyond surface-level solutions and seeking to change one’s entire life philosophy, REBT suggests that happiness comes from within and is achievable by anyone with the right mindset. I aim to help you cultivate that mindset.
