Being authentic matters to me. I show up as a real person in the therapy room, and I want you to feel like you can do the same. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, open up, and talk honestly about what you’ve been carrying: stress, thoughts you keep to yourself, and the experiences that have shaped you. When people feel safe enough to be real, that’s when therapy actually helps. I believe the relationship matters more than any technique. When you feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely seen, you’re more likely to take risks, say what’s true, and begin making meaningful changes.
At the same time, I bring strong clinical training to the work. I have advanced training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York. I use REBT and cognitive behavioral approaches to help you understand how your thinking shapes how you feel, and to make changes in how you relate to yourself, others, and your life.
Therapy with me isn’t rigid or overly structured. It’s a real conversation: two people sitting down and figuring things out together. At the same time, there’s a clear focus. We’re not just talking: we’re working to understand what’s going on and to make meaningful changes where they’re needed.
