I have over 30 years experience providing mental health counseling, specializing in supporting children, teens and adults in moving beyond the challenges of depression, anxiety, and traumatic stress. Sometimes you just can't talk or think your way out of things. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing (SEP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other talk therapy modalities that help you restore regulation in your nervous system after overwhelming life experiences. My holistic and tailored somatic mind-body approach is designed to support you in getting back to the people and things you enjoy in your life and restoring a sense of strength and well-being.
I will provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your emotions, at just the right pace to support nervous system integration and healing, so you can returned to a sense of ease in your body and connection to the joy in your life. It was never supposed to be this hard and it doesn’t have to be with the right support.
Like many, I am a Colorado transplant having moved here from Cincinnati, Ohio in 2006. I took one look at the mountains and knew I was home. I enjoy nature, travel, food, concerts, and time with friends. I am married with two teen daughters and two goofy beagles.
