Starting therapy can be anxiety provoking. I hope to make it a little easier by providing some light heartedness, education about the process, and a comfortable environment. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma. This can mean a single incident that you are having trouble recovering from, or more complex trauma over a long span of time. Additionally, I enjoy helping my clients learn healthier coping mechanisms, have a safe space to explore their thoughts and emotions, and find connection in the midst of challenges and difficulties.
We've been told that time heals all wounds, but this isn't always the case. I am trained in methods, such as EMDR, that have been proven to provide relief in less time than you might imagine. I offer a compassionate approach that is tailored to each individual. This includes building healthier coping mechanisms, healing past trauma, and learning to be led by your True Self.
