Jaimie Wolfelt, MA, LPC

Jaimie has experience with toddlers, school-aged children, adolescence, teens, and adults with a wide rage of presenting issues. She has experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and challenges including those experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic illness, attachment disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, children of parents with personality disorders, suicidal ideation, trauma, neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and emotional abuse.

Jaimie works from a variety of counseling approaches including person centered therapy, trauma informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, mindfulness, grief and loss therapy, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and uses art-based interventions, and psycho-education on brain, psychology, and coping skills.

Jaimie believes that all humans experience pain and therapy can be a resource for understanding self, learning techniques to cope, accepting thoughts and feelings, learning how to best communicate with peers and family, processing past and present, and understanding how to best meet our own needs in order to live our most fulfilling lives possible.
