Hello hello! My practice focuses on helping unravel the strings of loneliness and the merry-go round of behaviors we find ourselves repeating. I help clients who are looking to understand themselves more and break the cycles they are ready to end. Most of the therapeutic work I do is about healing attachment wounds as well as reprocessing trauma. My client's goals are often about believing in themselves and being able to dream about the future once more. I find that for many, their true likeness is buried under layers and layers of mistreatment and negative events they have endured. No one deserves that, and while the healing process might sound scary, or the outcome might feel uncertain, I am here to open a brave space where together we can create the outcomes you desire.
I see folks of all ages, in-person or online in Colorado, and online in Vermont. You might find I am a very friendly, open-minded, and calming person. Therapy feeds my analytical brain, and I get to use my creative and playful side in my work often. I was raised in the Denver area, and completed my undergraduate and graduate education here. My partner and I lived in Vermont for a brief time, and ultimately settled back in Denver to raise our two kids. My special rule in therapy is that we both can ask anything about each other, and we both get to decide how much we share. I want to hear your feedback, questions, and authentic feelings as they arise.
On the technical side of things: I have been in practice since 2015, and have taken multiple advanced trainings on trauma and attachment, play therapy, and Sand tray therapies. I am Progressive Counting certified, and Perinatal Mental Health certified. I am an experienced practitioner with trauma specific methods such as Flash, EMDR, and Trauma Systems Therapy. For attachment needs I use the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy to support stabilizing childhood wounds. I am also trained to administer and support attachment work using the Adult Attachment Projective (AAP).
