Good--you're ready to take action! Starting therapy is a courageous step. My goal is to walk alongside you and encourage you further. I consider my role as therapist an immense privilege, and seeing people grow and heal through therapy never gets old! I take a broadly person-centered, solution-focused and strengths-based approach in helping you to continue moving forward.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with people in all walks of life seeking to overcome challenges that threaten their well-being and aspirations, including addictions, depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship stress, and career challenges. I believe strongly in our capacity to grow throughout our lives. Each one of us is a being of immeasurable worth, and this fact profoundly informs the collaborative work I do with people.
I grew up in the Midwest but have lived in Colorado for many years, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and of course getting outdoors to hike, bike, run, ski, walk, and explore the beauty of our state.
