Romantic struggles are stressful. Breakups and feelings of loneliness feel tiring. Conflict with your beloved related to sexuality/intimacy, infidelity, parenting, polyamory, etc. can be demoralizing. Communication with family members or your partner can feel so frustrating at times. "Getting on the same page" with your partner prior to taking the next step would feel great. Adjusting to parenthood, coping with a difficult transition, or lack of existential fulfillment can make you feel powerless; you want to feel joy again!
I support couples and individuals, as well as older youth/teens with symptoms of anxiety, professional/existential stress, chronic pain, depression, fears, chronic pain, trauma/emotional wounds, and relationship/romantic or sexual concerns. I believe that one size does not fit all, therefore I have training in several uniquely different therapeutic frameworks that range from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, experiential, romantic/sex therapy, to deeper emotional/trauma work, such as Parts Work and Brainspotting.
I am certified in Brainspotting, which is a beautiful nervous system work that helps to process all of these types of distress in a more focused and manner by accessing the deeper regions of the brain where these emotional wounds are held, and then allowing them to process and release for immediate relief. Depending on the nature of the emotional content, multiple Brainspotting sessions can achieve greater healing and help the brain to rewire and update its "software" so that the patient no longer gets faulty signals that they are unsafe.
You don't have to face mental health or relationship challenges alone, and there's real healing and peace of mind to be had.
